About This Trip

The Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Spread over 87 square kilometers, this enchanting valley is home to over 600 species of flowering plants, many of which are rare and endemic to the region. During the monsoon season (July-September), the valley transforms into a spectacular carpet of wildflowers.

Discovered by British mountaineer Frank Smythe in 1931, the valley sits at an altitude of 3,658 meters and is surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.
