The Char Dham Yatra is the holiest pilgrimage circuit in Hinduism, encompassing four sacred temples nestled in the mighty Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand - Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. This divine journey is believed to wash away all sins and lead the devotee towards salvation (moksha).
Each temple holds immense significance: Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna river, Gangotri is where the Ganges descends to earth, Kedarnath houses one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, and Badrinath is the abode of Lord Vishnu. Together, they form a spiritual circuit that has attracted millions of pilgrims for centuries.
