Drive from Munsiyari to Dharchula (90 km), a border town along the Kali River with Nepal on the opposite bank. The road offers spectacular mountain views. Complete permit formalities. Explore the local market. Overnight at hotel.
Begin the drive towards Gunji, passing through the historic Narayan Ashram perched on a hilltop at 2,734m. The route follows the Kali River with stunning views of Nepal and India's border regions. Arrive at Gunji village (3,200m). Overnight in tents/guesthouse.
Trek from Gunji towards the base of Adi Kailash through alpine meadows and rocky terrain. The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Reach base camp and witness the majestic Adi Kailash peak rising dramatically above. Camp overnight.
The most spiritual day of the journey. Early morning darshan of Adi Kailash with Parvati Sarovar (lake) reflecting the peak. Then proceed to the viewpoint for the iconic Om Parvat - witness the miraculous natural Om symbol on the mountain face. Perform puja and prayers. Return to Gunji.
Rest day at Gunji. Explore the village, interact with locals, and soak in the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere. Optional visit to nearby hot springs. Relax and enjoy the mountain views.
